Fall is my favorite season . When I go outside on a crisp day it feels wonderful. I can finally breathe.  It  makes me feel alive .

Unlike spring, fall always seems like new beginnings to me. Perhaps its because of Rosh Hashannah and the fact that my birthday is at the end of the summer. Maybe its a left over feeling from my school days. September and fall were always the beginning of the school year.
Whether or not you like fall, I wish you a good fall and a shanah tovah.

Fall, like spring is a good time because Shabbos starts and ends at reasonable times. Then they go and switch the clocks and screw it up!

In fall your slate is clean. It coincides with both the new year and your own new year. The year to come is full of potential, whereas in spring half the year has already come and gone and you have to reconcile your goals against your achievements.

Growing up in California, fall primarily meant the start of school and end of summer vacation. The weather was not all that different. But now living with four seasons I welcome the relief from the heat and humidity. So, hurrah for autumn!
