the more things change, the more they stay the same
whenever i go back to visit my parents i always feel like a child again. both of my parents always insist on carrying my luggage for me...into the house ,into the car, off of the carousel ... its amazing. actually, i think that they are stronger than i am!! they are able to lift my bags better than i can. i plan on enjoying this as long as i can.

Its not good for women to carry heavy things, especially for women who never had kids. It can damage the reprodcutive organs.
So that may be why.
im not sure that my parents are aware of this information frum skeptic, but if they would be aware of this they would agree with you. my mom was telling me over pesach that i should freeze my eggs.
