i've been crocheting up a storm lately. i recently made a poncho some hats and several scarves. some were gifts but it is still is making me wonder if its a sign. am i crocheting winter apparel because it is going to be a cold winter or am i just really bored? hmm. i guess we will find out soon. fall is here. winter is not far off....

My sister taught me how to crochet. Then we got into a fight and i undid the half of scarf i had done. Oh well, it only punished me :)
that's too bad. crocheting is great for gifts. i've given scarves,hats, baby booties and baby bibs as gifts.
its fun to do and its inexpensive. i learned to crochet by taking classes, but i know that you can find free tutorials on you tube . i taught myself how to knit by a few you tube videos and a children's crocheting book by the 'klutz'. its best if someone can teach you in person, but you tube is still pretty good at explaining things.
