major chilul hashem
it is with great sadness that i post this . this is the biggest chilul hashem in the name of torah. they would be acting more properly if they were eating bacon and eggs at the kotel.
Why is it that we as Orthodox Jews are ashamed by these wingnuts and expected to condemn them while non-religious Jews have no such problems with Israeli extreme leftists who protest the same things?
i hear what you are saying. the thing is when one is orthodox one feels self conscious about what other frum jews do that is bad because we feel that others might point a finger at us in the same breath because we are religious and often people think religious people should act more properly than your average shmendrick . of course we know that this is not necessarily true, but much of the world does. go figure. the flip side is that i also feel embarrassed when secular jews slam israel, because to the rest of the world a jew is a jew is a jew no matter what stripe we pretend to be part of. many secular jews the same ethnocentrism as orthodox jews because they live more immersed in secular society and know how anti semitic pple can be.if one jew says something nonethical all jews must be that way!>? i suppose the only difference is that pple hold the more ritually observant jew to a higher standard simply because they appear to aspire to be more ethical.the secular jew doesnt hold the leftist jew as accountable for his actions because he is not claiming he is the more of a chosen jew he is only claiming to be more politically correct .

uch... I hate when I hear about these idiots!
"Slamming Israel" for some of it's policies by some on the left is different than calling for Israel's dismantling.
Big difference.
