I was wandering around Union Square this evening and noticed that people etched their thoughts on the the sidewalk. I thought I would share them with you. As they say, the writing is on the ....cement, I think that you will be relieved to see that this random batch of New Yorkers are hopeful about the future .

I don't know about Union Square, but I've seen similar sightings throughout the years across the city, and they usually have one thing in common.
They are usually within a block of a Public School, and it was a class project to write something (in this case, wants for the New Year?) on the sidewalks!
Seems like a cool idea :)
