tomorrow i get to do the one thing i like less than going to work. jury duty. i called in to see if it was necessary. apparently the voice recording thought so. i've packed my mp3 player, knitting and melissa gilbert's new book of memoirs
prairie tale. hopefully this will keep me occupied. despite all these preparations, im sure i will be bored out of my gourd. i love this country, i just dont love jury duty.

comfortablynumb- lol!
Yep, I had jury duty...had to be one of the most boring days of my life. On top of that, it was freezing in the courthouse, so I wish I had brought a sweater, but it was 90 degrees outside...Oh, and I forgot to bring anything to eat, but fortunately they had vending machines.
Got lucky. 2 days, 2 hours each day, $40/day.
moshe-
how'd they let you get away with only 2hrs? i had to stay until 3:30.
1st day, came late, got taken to court room. Lawyers eliminated half and the rest were sent home to come back next day. Total time, 2 hours.
2nd day, was the last one to be picked, told them I won't be impartial. By the time they got to me it was lunch time again and they decided to just send me home. Total time, 2 hours.
2 days, 2 hours each.
